Base reference of modern manufacturer in correlate with global market competition is short response on market demands. Direct repercussion of this demand is need for shorter time to market. Vital interest in these conditions is finding of production process that can enable shorter time of work, saving on work and achieved define goals. Big progress in this area is enabled with Rapid Prototyping technologies. Selective Laser Sintering – SLS is a Rapid Prototyping – RP technology that have place in many production systems. SLS systems with their characteristics are successfully used for indirect and direct production of parts. However, possibility of production of ready-made parts directly without post processing is big progress in Rapid Prototyping area. Despite to the obviously precedence of SLS processes insufficient familiarity with essence of process and influences of process parameters on features of produced parts enable many investigates on this domain. Those investigations will enable to find efficient ways of productions and increase quality of produced SLS parts. |
