Shortening of time for development of new products and their introduction on the market have forced production companies to find new ways and technologies for satisfying mentioned claims with minimal expenses. One solution is implementation of Rapid Prototyping technologies in different areas of industrial production. Owning to its characteristics, three-dimensional printing process has found numerous applications and one of them is its usage in casting. In this paper are presented possibilities, potentials and real examples of usage of three-dimensional printing process in casting. |
